we publish people who have actually done the thing. if you run hiring, build evaluation systems, or have been through the process as a candidate and have something specific to say about it, we want to read it.
what we publish
- what actually happened when you changed something in your hiring process, with the numbers
- a technical piece on evaluation, scoring, bias testing, or interview design
- a candidate's honest account of being screened by ai
- research you have read closely and disagree with
- the case against something we have published
what we turn down
- listicles assembled from other listicles
- pieces written to place a backlink
- vendor comparisons that happen to end on your product
- anything an llm wrote end to end without you in it
the practical details
- length: 1,200 to 2,500 words. shorter is fine if it earns it.
- byline: your name, your role, and a link of your choosing.
- editing: we edit for clarity and house style, which is lowercase and plain. we send it back before anything goes live.
- claims: anything factual needs a source we can check.
- reply time: we read every pitch and answer either way, usually within a week.
